Polly Antoniuk

Polly Antoniak (Pauline) was my grandmother on my father's side. My dad never really knew what she died of, he was only 21 when she died and had been on his own since he was 14. He said that she had broken her back and had a hump on her back. The death certificate said she died of Terminal bronchialpneumonia and she had heart disease arterialsclerosis, she was 48. I wonder why she was in Essondale as it was a mental hospital and it never mentioned anything about her mental condition, maybe they put people there who required extended care? I was happy to find her because we didn't even know her maiden name.
